About
I have had the good fortune to work with a host of the most incredible people. Most recently I did this at NYU's Ability Lab, where an amazing group of designers, engineers and therapists work together with clients to build assistive technologies. I also got to build adaptations out of cardboard (it's the best material!) with radical social justice advocates at the Adaptive Design Association. Prior to that, I studied with a community of brilliant artists and makers at New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, made exhibits and learned all about the environment with teams of designers at the Nature Museum in Chicago, and was taught by an intrepid group of artic archaeologists at Smithsonian's Arctic Studies Center in the ways of digging and diving and living on a boat in cold places. Really, just the best people.
